Endodontics - Root Canal
Endodontics is the branch of dentistry that focus on treating the "inside" of our teeth. The main reasons that can cause our tooth infection can be a deep caries, an extensive tooth fracture, periodontal disease as well as old dental restorations that are beginning to deteriorate. During endodontic treatment, the nerves and vessels of the tooth are removed. The tooth, after being cleaned and disinfected, is clogged with specialized materials. Modern endodontics allows us to complete endodontic treatment in a few sessions, many times in just one!
